The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 It may be that you (O Muhammad SAW) are going to kill yourself with grief, that they do not become believers [in your Risalah (Messengership) and in your Message of Islamic Monotheism]. 3 If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would become to it submissive. 4 And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. 5 For they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule. 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 Surely in this there is a sign, yet most of them would not believe: 8 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 9
