When Your Lord told Moses to go to the unjust people of the Pharaoh 10 The people of Fir'awn; fear they Me not? 11 He answered: "O my Sustainer! Behold, I fear that they will give me the lie, 12 and "my breast is straitened and my tongue is not fluent; so send Aaron as well; 13 “And they have an accusation against me, so I fear that they may kill me.” 14 He said: By no means, so go you both with Our signs; surely We are with you, hearing; 15 Go to Pharaoh and say, 'We are the messengers of the Lord of the worlds, 16 "So allow the Children of Israel to go with us.' " 17 [But when Moses had delivered his message, Pharaoh] said: "Did we not bring thee up among us when thou wert a child? And didst thou not spend among us years of thy [later] life? 18 And you commited what you did, and you are ungrateful!" 19 Moses replied, "I did that when I was one of the misguided, 20 So I fled from you when I feared you, then my Lord granted me wisdom and made me of the apostles; 21 And [as for] that favour of which thou so tauntingly remindest me - [was it not] due to thy having enslaved the children of Israel?" 22 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "And what is the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)?" 23 (Moses) said: "The Lord and Cherisher of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- if ye want to be quite sure." 24 Pharaoh said to those around him: "Do you hear (what he says)?" 25 Moses said: "(He is) Your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers of yore." 26 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "Verily, your Messenger who has been sent to you is a madman!" 27 [Moses] said, "Lord of the east and the west and that between them, if you were to reason." 28 Pharaoh said, "If you take any deity other than myself, I will throw you into prison," 29 Moses asked, "What if I were to bring you clear proof (of the existence of God)?" 30 Said Firaun, “Then bring it, if you are of the truthful.” 31 So [Moses] threw his staff, and suddenly it was a serpent manifest. 32 And he drew forth his hand, thereupon it shone bright before the beholders. 33
