۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 and they have enraged us, 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 and drowned the other party. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
