And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
