۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 Then drowned the others. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
