۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 "There is a small group of people 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 we are a large and watchful force." 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 And they overtook them at sunrise. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 Then drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
