۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
