۞ Also, We revealed to Moses, saying: 'Go with My worshipers by night, for you will be followed' 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 we are a large and watchful force." 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
