۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 They are always harassing us. 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
