۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
