And Nuh's people belied the sent ones. 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they do? 112 Their account falls only upon My Lord, if you were but aware. 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest afterwards 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
