The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death." 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
