The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They said, 'Shall we believe thee, whom the vilest follow?' 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 Their account falls only upon My Lord, if you were but aware. 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122
