The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me' 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 therefore, judge decisively between me and them; and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
