The dwellers of the thicket gave the lie to the apostles. 176 When Shu'aib said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 177 I am a trustworthy Messengers. 178 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 179 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 180 ۞ Give a full measure and be not of those who diminish; 181 and [in all your dealings] weigh with a true balance, 182 And do not deprive people of their due and do not commit abuse on earth, spreading corruption. 183 but be conscious of Him who has created you, just as [He created] those countless generations of old!" 184 They said: You are only of those deluded; 185 and a mere mortal like us. We think you are a liar. 186 So cause to fall upon us fragments of the sky, if you should be of the truthful." 187 He said, "My Lord has full knowledge of all your actions." 188 They rejected him, and then had to suffer the punishment of a day of overshadowing gloom. That was indeed the punishment of an awful day. 189 In this there is an evidence of the Truth, but many of them did not have any faith. 190 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 191
