The men of the Thicket cried lies to the Envoys 176 Behold, Shu'aib said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 177 I am for you a faithful Messenger, so fear you God, and obey you me. 178 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me: 179 And I ask of you no wage for it; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 180 ۞ Give full measure and do not be of those who cause loss. 181 and weigh with the straight balance, 182 and do not deliver short, and do not go about creating mischief in the land, 183 "And fear Him Who created you and the generations of the men of old." 184 They said: thou art but of the bewitched; 185 “You are just a human like us, and indeed we consider you a liar.” 186 Drop down on us lumps from heaven, if you are one of the truthful' 187 He said, "My Lord knows all that you do." 188 But they denied him, and We seized them with the torment of the Day of Shadowing (when the cloud had rained down fire). It was indeed the torment of a terrible day! 189 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 190 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 191
