And indeed, the Qur'an is the revelation of the Lord of the worlds. 192 The Trusted Spirit hath brought it down. 193 To thy heart and mind, that thou mayest admonish. 194 in a clear, Arabic tongue. 195 And lo! it is in the Scriptures of the men of old. 196 Is it not a sign to them that the learned men of the Israelites know it? 197 Had We revealed it to a man of obscure tongue 198 And he had recited it to them, and they had not believed it would have been different. 199 Thus have We caused this (Admonition) to penetrate the hearts of the culprits (like a hot rod). 200 they will not believe in it till they behold the grievous suffering 201 that will come upon them [on resurrection,] all of a sudden, without their being aware [of its approach]; 202 They will say, "Can we be granted any respite?" 203 What, do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? 204 Did you consider that if We were to let them enjoy life for many years 205 And then cometh that which they were promised, 206 what avail will their past enjoyments be to them? 207 And We destroyed not a city but it had its warners. 208 to admonish them. We have never been unjust. 209 No evil ones have brought down this (Revelation): 210 neither are they worthy of it, nor are they capable of it, 211 verily, [even] from hearing it are they utterly debarred! 212 So call on no other god but God, lest you are condemned to torment; 213 Warn your nearest kinsmen, 214 And be kind and humble to the believers who follow you. 215 And if they (thy kinsfolk) disobey thee, say: Lo! I am innocent of what they do. 216 Put your trust in the Almighty, the Most Merciful, 217 Who seeth thee when thou standest up (to pray) 218 And your turning over and over among those who prostrate themselves before Allah. 219 Surely He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 220 Shall I inform you (of him) upon whom the Shaitans descend? 221 They descend on every lying, wicked person, 222 on those who whisper hearsay in the ears of people; and most of them are liars. 223 And the Poets,- It is those straying in Evil, who follow them: 224 Have you not seen them wandering and bewildered in every valley 225 And how they say that which they do not? 226 Save those that believe, and do righteous deeds, and remember God oft, and help themselves after being wronged; and those who do wrong shall surely know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
