And those who disbelieve say: when we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we, for sooth, be brought forth? 67 We were promised this, forsooth, we and our fathers. (All) this is naught but fables of the men of old. 68 Say, "Roam across the earth and observe what was the end of the sinful ones." 69 (O Prophet), do not grieve over them, nor be distressed at their designs. 70 They also say: "When will this promise (come to pass)? (Say) if ye are truthful." 71 Say, "Perhaps it is close behind you - some of that for which you are impatient. 72 Lo! thy Lord is full of bounty for mankind, but most of them do not give thanks. 73 Your Lord certainly knows whatever their hearts conceal or reveal. 74 And there is nothing hidden in the heaven and the earth, but is in a Clear Book (i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 75 Surely, this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that which they are at variance. 76 and it is a guidance and mercy for the believers. 77 And verily thine Lord shall decide between them with His judgment, and He is the Mighty, the Knowing. 78 Therefore put your trust in Allah, for you are upon a clear truth. 79 You cannot make the dead to listen, or the deaf to hear the call, when they have turned their backs, 80 Nor do you guide the blind out of their error, nor do you make any to hear, except those who believe in Our verses and are Muslims. 81 ۞ And when the word befalls them, We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, [saying] that the people were, of Our verses, not certain [in faith]. 82
