The unbelievers say: "When we become dust, we and our forefathers, shall we really be brought out (from our graves)? 67 Assuredly we have been promised this aforetime, we and our fathers. Naught is this but fables of the ancients. 68 Say, "Travel through the land and see how terrible was the end of the criminal ones". 69 (O Prophet), do not grieve over them, nor be distressed at their designs. 70 And they ask: 'When will this promise come, if what you say is true' 71 Say: "The chastisement whose hastening you have been asking for, maybe a part of it has drawn quite near to you." 72 Verily your Lord is gracious to men, though most men are ungrateful. 73 And most surely your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. 74 there is nothing hidden in heaven and on earth, but is recorded in a clear Book. 75 This Quran tells the Israelites most of the matters about which they had disputes among themselves. 76 certainly it is guidance and a blessing for the believers. 77 Surely your Lord will judge between them by his judgment, and He is the Mighty, the knowing. 78 So put your trust in Allah for you are on the manifest truth. 79 Verily, you cannot make the dead to hear (i.e. benefit them and similarly the disbelievers), nor can you make the deaf to hear the call, when they flee, turning their backs. 80 Thou shalt not guide the blind out of their error neither shalt thou make any to hear, save such as believe in Our signs, and so surrender. 81 ۞ And when the Word is fulfilled against them (the unjust), we shall produce from the earth a beast to (face) them: He will speak to them, for that mankind did not believe with assurance in Our Signs. 82
