Al-Ankaboot 7 of 7
This life of the world is but a pastime and a game. Lo! the home of the Hereafter - that is Life, if they but knew. 64 When they board a vessel, they call on God, sincere in their faith for Him alone; but when He brings them safe to land, they begin to ascribe partners to Him. 65 and thus they show utter ingratitude for all that We have vouchsafed them, and go on [thoughtlessly] enjoying their worldly life. 66 Have they not seen that We made [Makkah] a safe sanctuary, while people are being taken away all around them? Then in falsehood do they believe, and in the favor of Allah they disbelieve? 67 And who does greater evil than he who forges against God a lie, or cries lies to the truth when it comes to him? What, is there not in Gehenna a lodging for the unbelievers? 68 As for those who strive in Us, We surely guide them to Our paths, and lo! Allah is with the good. 69
True are the words of God the Almighty.
