O Prophet! say to your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers that they let down upon them their over-garments; this will be more proper, that they may be known, and thus they will not be given trouble; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites and perverts, and the rumour-mongers of Madinah, do not desist even now, We shall rouse you against them, so they would not be able to live but a short time in the city with you. 60 cursed wherever they are found, they will be seized and put to death. 61 This has been Allah's Way with those who have gone before, and you shall find no change in Allah's Way. 62 Men ask thee of the Hour. Say: The knowledge of it is with Allah only. What can convey (the knowledge) unto thee? It may be that the Hour is nigh. 63 Allah has indeed cursed the disbelievers, and has kept prepared for them a blazing fire. 64 To abide therein for a long time; they shall not find a protector or a helper. 65 On that Day when their faces are turned about in the Fire, they shall say: 'Would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger' 66 They will say: “Our Lord, we obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they turned us away from the Right Way. 67 Our Lord, mete out to them a double chastisement and lay upon them a mighty curse.” 68
