۞ Say to them, (O Prophet): “I give you but one counsel: stand up (for heaven's sake), singly and in pairs, and then think: what is it in your companion (to wit, Muhammad) that could be deemed as madness?” He is nothing but a warner, warning you before the coming of a grevious chastisement. 46 Say: "No reward do I ask of you: it is (all) in your interest: my reward is only due from Allah: And He is witness to all things." 47 Say: Lo! my Lord hurleth the truth. (He is) the Knower of Things Hidden. 48 Say thou: the truth is come, and falsehood shall neither originate nor be restored. 49 Proclaim, “If I stray, I stray only for my own harm; and if I attain guidance, it is because of what my Lord has sent down to me; indeed He is All Hearing, Close.” 50 If you could see when they are gripped by terror without any escape, and are seized from close at hand 51 and say: 'We believe in it' But how can they reach from a place that is distant, 52 And they had already disbelieved in it before and would assault the unseen from a place far away. 53 And a gulf is set between them and that which they desire, as was done for people of their kind of old. Lo! they were in hopeless doubt. 54
