Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 Gives a little, then hardens (his heart)? 34 Has he the knowledge of the unseen so that he can see? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 that no soul shall bear the burden of another; 38 That man can have nothing but what he strives for; 39 and that in time [the nature of] all his striving will be shown [to him in its true light,] 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 that all things in the end shall return to God; 42 and that it is He who makes to laugh, and that makes to weep, 43 And He who ordains death and life; 44 and that it is He who created pairs, the male and the female, 45 From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted; 46 and on Him depends the life hereafter. 47 And that it is He who enriches and suffices 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius. 49 that it was He that destroyed ancient Aad 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 And the folk of Noah aforetime, Lo! they were more unjust and more rebellious; 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 and covered them with torment. 54 Then which of the Graces of your Lord (O man!) will you doubt. 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 and none but Allah can avert it. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 Rather, prostrate to Allah and worship Him. ۩ 62
God the Almighty always says the truth.
