Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ya, Seen. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs), 2 Thou art indeed one of the messengers, 3 on a straight path; 4 the sending down of the All-mighty, the All-wise, 5 [bestowed upon thee] so that thou mayest warn people whose forefathers had not been warned, and who therefore are unaware [of the meaning of right and wrong]. 6 The Phrase has become obligatory upon most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 We have enchained their necks up to their chins. Thus, they cannot bend their heads (to find their way). 8 And We have set a bar before them and a bar behind them, and (thus) have covered them so that they see not. 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
