Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Ya Sin. 1 Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom: 2 You (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) are indeed one of the Noble Messengers. 3 upon the straight path. 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned and so they are unaware. 6 The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe. 7 We have indeed put shackles around their necks reaching up to the chins, so they remain facing upwards. 8 And We shall raise a barrier in front of them and a barrier behind them, and cover them over so that they will not be able to see. 9 The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 We shall surely raise the dead to life and We record what they did and the traces of their deeds that they have left behind. We have encompassed that in a Clear Book. 12
