Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya'. Sin. 1 By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,- 2 you (Prophet Muhammad) are truly among the Messengers sent 3 On a right way. 4 [This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 5 That thou mayst warn a folk whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 The Phrase has become obligatory upon most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 and We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier; and We have covered them, so they do not see. 9 The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 10 Thou warnest only him who followeth the Reminder and feareth the Beneficent in secret. To him bear tidings of forgiveness and a rich reward. 11 Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have sent before and their footprints, and We have recorded everything in a clear writing. 12
