Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Ya Sin. 1 By oath of the wise Qur’an. 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 upon a Straight Path. 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned and so they are unaware. 6 Assuredly the word hath been justified against most of them, wherefore they shall not believe. 7 We have indeed put shackles around their necks reaching up to the chins, so they remain facing upwards. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have enshrouded them in veils so that they cannot see: 9 Whether you warn them or do not warn, it is all the same; they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11 We shall surely raise the dead to life and We record what they did and the traces of their deeds that they have left behind. We have encompassed that in a Clear Book. 12
