Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Yaa-Seen (Alphabets of Arabic language – Allah and to whomever He reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,- 2 Thou art indeed one of the messengers, 3 on a straight path; 4 [This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. 6 Indeed, the word [of God's condemnation] is bound to come true against most of them: for they will not believe. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 And We have made before them a barrier and a barrier behind them, then We have covered them over so that they do not see. 9 Alike it is to them whether thou hast warned them or thou hast not warned them, they do not believe. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 Surely it is We who bring the dead to life and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; everything We have numbered in a clear register. 12
