Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Ya Sin. 1 By the Wise Qur'an, 2 you are truly among the Messengers, 3 on a straight path; 4 It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned and so they are unaware. 6 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. 7 We have put fetters around their necks which reach up to their chins so that they are standing with their heads upright, 8 And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. 9 And it is the same for them, whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11 We shall surely raise the dead to life and We record what they did and the traces of their deeds that they have left behind. We have encompassed that in a Clear Book. 12
