Evidence (of the truth) for them is how We revived the dead earth 33 And We have placed in it gardens of dates and grapes, and We have made springs of water in it. 34 That they may eat of the fruit thereof, and their hands did not make it; will they not then be grateful? 35 Glory be to Him Who created all the sexual pairs, of that which the earth groweth, and of themselves, and of that which they know not! 36 And a sign to them is the night: We draw forth from it the day, then lo! they are in the dark; 37 The sun is running its course to its appointed place. That is the ordaining of the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing. 38 We have appointed stages for the moon till it returns in the shape of a dry old branch of palm-tree. 39 The sun cannot overtake the moon, nor can the night outpace the day: each floats in [its own] orbit. 40 how We carried them and their offspring inside the laden Ark 41 We have created for them the like of it in which they ride. 42 If it were Our will, We could drown them: then there would be no helper [to hear their cry], nor could they be saved. 43 except Our mercy which could enable them to enjoy themselves for an appointed time. 44 But when it is said to them, "Beware of what is before you and what is behind you; perhaps you will receive mercy... " 45 yet never any sign of the signs of their Lord comes to them, but they are turning away from it. 46 When they are told: "Spend of what God has given you," the unbelievers say to those who believe: "Why should we feed those whom God should have fed if He pleased?" You are only in palpable error. 47 And they say: When will this threat come to pass, if you are truthful? 48 They must be waiting for but one single blast, which will overtake them while they are still disputing. 49 No (chance) will they then have, by will, to dispose (of their affairs), nor to return to their own people! 50
