Are you the harder to create or the heaven? He made it. 27 He raised high its height, then put it into a right good state. 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 and thereafter spread out the earth, 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 And the mountains hath He firmly fixed;- 32 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 And the hell shall be made manifest to him who sees 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 And who chose the life of the world, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 About what! You are one to remind of it. 43 With thy Lord is the Limit fixed therefore. 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 On the Day whereon they behold it, it will appear to them as though they had not tarried save an evening or the morn thereof. 46

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
