The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the rangers ranging 1 and those who drive away [the wicked] with reproof 2 and by the reciters of the Reminder: 3 surely your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and all that is between them, and Lord of every point of the sun's risings. (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah). 5 We have decked the lower heavens with stars 6 and guarded it against all rebellious devils: 7 They cannot listen to the speech of those on higher elevations and they are targeted from every side. 8 Being driven off, and for them is a perpetual chastisement, 9 Except those who eavesdrop and are pursued by a shooting flame. 10 So ask them for a pronouncement -- Are they stronger in constitution, or those We created? We created them of clinging clay. 11 Nay, but thou dost marvel when they mock 12 and when they are admonished, they pay no heed; 13 and when they see a miracle, they mock 14 And say, "This is not but obvious magic. 15 "What! When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be brought back to life again, 16 And our fathers too?" 17 Proclaim, “Yes, and with disgrace.” 18 There is but one Shout, and lo! they behold, 19 And will say, “O our misfortune!” It will be said to them, “This is the Day of Justice.” 20 This is the Day of Judgment which ye were wont to belie. 21
