1/2 Hizb 45

۞ Muster those who did evil, their wives, and that they were serving, 22 other than Allah, and guide them to the Path of Hell! 23 and detain them there; they will be called to account. 24 [They will be asked], "What is [wrong] with you? Why do you not help each other?" 25 Nay! on that day they shall be submissive. 26 And some of them will confront the others, 27 They will say: verily ye! ye were wont to come unto us Imposing. 28 They will say, "No! It was you who would not believe -- 29 We had no power over you. In fact, you were a people rebellious. 30 But now our Lord's word has come true against us: truly, we are bound to taste [the punishment]. 31 we perverted you, indeed, we were perverts' 32 On that day they will all share the torment. 33 Certainly, that is how We deal with Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, the disobedient to Allah, etc.). 34 For when it was said to them: 'There is no god except Allah' they were always proud 35 saying, 'What, shall we forsake our gods for a poet possessed?' 36 Nay, but he [whom you call a mad poet] has brought the truth; and he confirms the truth of [what the earlier of God's] message-bearers [have taught]. 37 Most surely you will taste the painful punishment. 38 and will be recompensed only for what you deserve. 39 But not the chosen servants of Allah. 40 shall have a known provision -- 41 a variety of delicious fruits; and they shall be honoured 42 In the Gardens of delight (Paradise), 43 (Sitting) on couches, face to face, 44 a cup filled with wine from its springs, will be passed around to them; 45 White, delicious to those who drink. 46 Free from headiness; nor will they suffer intoxication therefrom. 47 And with them will be chaste females, restraining their glances (desiring none except their husbands), with wide and beautiful eyes. 48 As if they were [delicate] eggs, well-protected. 49 Then one turned to the other in an enquiry. 50 One of them will say: “I had a companion in the world 51 Who said: What! are you indeed of those who accept (the truth)? 52 "'When we die and become dust and bones, shall we indeed receive rewards and punishments?'" 53 Do you want to see him?' " 54 Then he will look downwards, and will see him in the depths of Hell. 55 He will say, "By Allah, you almost ruined me. 56 If not for the favor of my Lord, I would have been of those brought in [to Hell]. 57 What, do we then not die 58 and that we would not be punished?" 59 This will indeed be great happiness. 60 for which one must strive hard. 61 Is this a better hospitality or the tree of AzZakkum! 62 We have indeed made that a punishment for the unjust. 63 It is a tree that comes forth in the root of Hell; 64 The shoots of its fruit-stalks are like the heads of devils: 65 They will eat and fill their bellies with it, 66 On top of it they shall have a brew of boiling water, 67 Then shall their return be to the (Blazing) Fire. 68 They indeed found their fathers astray, 69 and rushed to follow them. 70 So had many an earlier people gone astray, 71 though We had sent among them warners. 72 Then see the nature of the consequence for those warned, 73 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 74
