3/4 Hizb 45

And Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders. 75 And We saved him and his family from the great affliction. 76 and We made his offspring the only survivors. 77 And left (his name) for posterity. 78 "Peace and salutation to Noah among the nations!" 79 Thus do We reward all those who do good. 80 Surely he was one of Our truly believing servants. 81 Afterwards We drowned the others. 82 ۞ Abraham was on the self-same way (as Noah). 83 he came to his Lord with a sound heart. 84 Behold! he said to his father and to his people, "What is that which ye worship? 85 It is falsehood that you desire gods other than Allah! 86 Then what is your thought about the Lord of the worlds?" 87 He cast a glance at the stars 88 Then he said: Surely I am sick (of your worshipping these). 89 So they turned away from him, and departed. 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said, 'What do you eat? 91 "What is the matter with you that ye speak not (intelligently)?" 92 And he turned upon them a blow with [his] right hand. 93 Then the people came toward him, hastening. 94 "Why do you worship these you carve yourselves," he asked, 95 “Whereas Allah has created you and your actions?” 96 They said: "Build for him a building (it is said that the building was like a furnace) and throw him into the blazing fire!" 97 So they contrived a plot against him, but We made them abject. 98 And he said, “Indeed I shall go to my Lord Who will guide me.” 99 My Lord! Bestow on me a son who will be of the righteous. 100 So We gave him the good news of a clement son. 101 When his son was old enough to work with him, he said, "My son, I have had a dream that I must sacrifice you. What do you think of this?" He replied, "Father, fulfill whatever you are commanded to do and you will find me patient, by the will of God". 102 And when they had both submitted, and his son had laid down prostrate upon his forehead, 103 We called to him, saying: 'O Abraham, 104 You have fulfilled the dream (vision)!" Verily! Thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 105 That was indeed a clear trial. 106 We ransomed his son with a great sacrifice 107 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 108 "Peace be upon Abraham!" 109 Thus do We reward the doers of good 110 Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 111 And We gave him the good news of Ishaq, a prophet among the good ones. 112 And We blessed him, and Isaac; and of their seed some are good-doers, and some manifest self-wrongers. 113
