We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
