Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 and never encourages the feeding of the destitute. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 who become confused during their prayers, 5 those who do good (in order) to be seen, 6 And withhold [simple] assistance. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
