We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
