And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and at night.
