We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and at night.
