THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
