Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
