Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
