He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 because the blind man approached him! 2 And what would make you know that he would purify himself, 3 (He might) remember, and the Reminder might profit him. 4 As for him who regardeth himself self-sufficient 5 To him you give attention. 6 although thou art not accountable for his failure to attain to purity; 7 But he who comes to you running, 8 And whereas he fears, 9 of him you were unmindful. 10 Nay, (do not do like this), indeed it (these Verses of this Quran) are an admonition, 11 So let whosoever will pay heed to it, 12 [It is recorded] in honored sheets, 13 Exalted, Purified, 14 [borne] by the hands of messengers 15 Who are noble, virtuous. 16 May (the disbelieving) human being be condemned! What makes him disbelieve? 17 From what did He create him? 18 From Nutfah (male and female semen drops) He created him, and then set him in due proportion; 19 Then doth He make His path smooth for him; 20 Then He caused him to die and be buried 21 and He will resurrect him whenever He wants. 22 Not one he has not yet completed what he was commanded. 23 Let the human being think about (how We produce) his food. 24 We poured down rain abundantly, 25 and split the earth, splitting, 26 how We made the grain to grow, 27 And grapes and herbage, 28 and olives, and palms, 29 and dense-tree'd gardens, 30 And fruits and grasses: 31 A provision for you and for your cattle. 32 When the trumpet sounds, 33 On the Day whereon a man shall flee from his brother, 34 And his mother and his father 35 wife and sons, 36 Everyman, that Day, will have enough to make him careless of others. 37 Some faces on that day will be radiant, 38 laughing and joyful, 39 And other faces that Day will be dust-stained, 40 Darkness shall cover them. 41 Those, they are the unbelievers, the immoral. 42
Almighty God's Truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
