And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
