Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
