Hizb 46

And Jonah too was one of the Messengers. 139 When he fled on the laden ship, 140 And he drew lots and was among the losers. 141 So the whale swallowed him, for he was blameworthy, 142 And had he not been one of those who glorify (Allah) 143 he would indeed have remained in its belly till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead: 144 ۞ Then We cast him on a bare desert whilst he was sick. 145 And We caused to grow over him a gourd vine. 146 Then We sent him to a hundred thousand or more, 147 And they believed; so We permitted them to enjoy (their life) for a while. 148 Therefore ask them (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), whether the daughters are for your Lord and the sons for them! 149 Did We create the angels females, to which they were witnesses? 150 Is it not of their own calumny that they say, 151 Allah has begotten; and most surely they are liars. 152 "He has chosen daughters in preference to sons"! 153 Woe to you! How terrible is your Judgment. 154 Will ye not then receive admonition? 155 Or have you a clear authority? 156 Bring your book if what you say is true. 157 And they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment]. 158 Hallowed be Allah from that which they ascribe to Him. 159 Except His chosen creatures who do not. 160 You and whatever you worship 161 Not against Him can you cause (any) to fall into trial, 162 except those who are doomed to enter hell. 163 "There is not one of us who does not have his appointed place," (declare the angels.) 164 we are those who stand ranged in ranks. 165 Lo! we, even we are they who hymn His praise 166 And indeed they (Arab pagans) used to say; 167 Had we a reminder from those of yore, 168 We would have been the chosen servants of Allah." 169 But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know. 170 We decreed that Our Messenger servants 171 That they would certainly be assisted, 172 and that Our hosts shall triumph. 173 So turn thou from them for a while, 174 and see, and soon they too shall see. 175 Would they hasten on Our doom? 176 But when it cometh home to them, then it will be a hapless morn for those who have been warned. 177 So turn (away) from them for a while, 178 And watch, for they will (soon) see. 179 Too glorious is your Lord, the Lord of power, for what they ascribe to Him. 180 And peace is upon the Noble Messengers. 181 And all praise is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation. 182
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
