And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment." 41 (We answered his prayer, healed his sickness, and told him), "Run on your feet. This is cool water (for you) to wash and drink". 42 And We gave to him his family, and the like of them with them, as a mercy from us, and a reminder unto men possessed of minds; 43 "And take in your hand a bundle of thin grass and strike therewith (your wife), and break not your oath. Truly! We found him patient. How excellent (a) slave! Verily, he was ever oft-returning in repentance (to Us)! 44 And make mention of Our bondmen, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, men of parts and vision. 45 Verily We! We distinguished them with a distinct quality: the remembrance of the Abode. 46 They were, in Our sight, truly, of the company of the Elect and the Good. 47 And remember Isma'il (Ishmael), Al-Yasa'a (Elisha), and Dhul-Kifl (Isaiah), all are among the best. 48 This is a Reminder, and verily, for the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) is a good final return (Paradise), 49 Gardens Everlasting, whereof the portals remain opened for them. 50 Therein will they recline (at ease): Therein can they call (at pleasure) for fruit in abundance, and (delicious) drink; 51 ۞ And with them are the pure spouses, who do not set gaze upon men except their husbands, of single age. 52 All this is what you are promised for the Day of Judgement. 53 Verily this is Our provision: there will be no ceasing thereof. 54 Yea, such! but - for the wrong-doers will be an evil place of (Final) Return!- 55 Hell; which they shall enter; what an evil resting-place! 56 This - so let them taste it - is scalding water and [foul] purulence. 57 And other torments, like thereof, conjoined. 58 This is a crowd rushing in along with you; no welcome for them; verily they are to roast in the Fire. 59 (The followers shall cry to the misleaders:) "Nay, ye (too)! No welcome for you! It is ye who have brought this upon us! Now evil is (this) place to stay in!" 60 [And] they will pray: "O our Sustainer! Whoever has prepared this for us, double Thou his suffering in the fire!" 61 They say, 'How is it with us, that we do not see men here that we counted among the wicked? 62 Is it that we mistakenly made fun of them; or have they disappeared from our sight?” 63 Such, behold, will in truth be the [confusion and] mutual wrangling of the people of the fire! 64
