Remember also Our servant Job; when he called to his Lord, 'Behold, Satan has visited me with weariness and chastisement.' 41 (Allah said to him): "Strike the ground with your foot: This is a spring of water to wash in, cool and a (refreshing) drink." 42 And We granted to him his family and also the like of them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to people of understanding, 43 "And take in your hand a bundle of thin grass and strike therewith (your wife), and break not your oath. Truly! We found him patient. How excellent (a) slave! Verily, he was ever oft-returning in repentance (to Us)! 44 And remember Our servants Ibrahim and Ishaq and Yaqoub, men of power and insight. 45 Assuredly We purified them with a quality most pure, the remembrance of the Abode, 46 And they are with Us, verily, of the chosen and the best! 47 And make mention of Ishmael and Elisha and Dhu'l-Kifl. All are of the chosen. 48 This is an advice; and indeed for the pious is an excellent abode. 49 'Adn (Edn) Paradise (everlasting Gardens), whose doors will be open for them, [It is said (in Tafsir At-Tabari, Part 23, Page 174) that one can speak to the doors, just one tells it to open and close, and it will open or close as it is ordered]. 50 in which they will recline, and call for abundant fruit and drink therein. 51 ۞ with them, they will have pure, modest women of an equal age. 52 'This is what you are promised on the Day of Recompense, 53 this is Our unending provision' 54 All this; but for the insolent awaits an ill resort, 55 Hell!- they will burn therein, - an evil bed (indeed, to lie on)!- 56 This is for the criminals – so that they may taste it – boiling hot water and pus. 57 And other Penalties of a similar kind, to match them! 58 (We shall say to their leaders): 'This is a troop rushing in with you, there is no welcome for them, they shall roast in the Fire' 59 They will say: "In fact, it is you who will have no welcome. It is you who brought this upon us. What an evil place of rest!" 60 They say: Our Lord! Whoever did prepare this for us, oh, give him double portion of the Fire! 61 And they say, “What is the matter with us that we do not see the men whom we thought were evil?” 62 [and] whom we made the target of our derision? Or are they here, and our eyes have missed them?" 63 That most surely is the truth: the contending one with another of the inmates of the fire. 64
