Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 from which you are turning away.” 68 (Tell them): “I had no knowledge of the High Council when they were disputing. 69 This alone is revealed to me, I am only a clear warner' 70 When thy Lord said to the angels, 'See, I am creating a mortal of a clay. 71 When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!' 72 Then the angels bowed themselves all together, 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?" 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 (God) said: "Then go hence, ostracised. 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 He said: "O Lord, give me respite till the day the dead rise from their graves." 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 Until the Day of the time appointed. 81 He said, “Therefore, by oath of Your honour, I will surely mislead all of them.” 82 "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." 83 [And God] said: "This, then, is the truth! And this truth do I state: 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; nor am I of those who affect: 86 It, (the Quran), is nothing but a reminder to you from the Lord of the Universe. 87 And ye will come in time to know the truth thereof. 88
