Say: 'I am only a warner. There is no god except Allah, the One, the Conqueror, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 from which you are turning away.” 68 I had no knowledge of the Exalted Assembly when they argued [against the creation of man]: 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate, 72 And the angels did obeisance, all of them, 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 He said: I am better than he; Thou hast created me of fire, and him Thou didst create of dust. 76 Said He, 'Then go thou forth hence; thou art accursed. 77 My condemnation will be with you until the Day of Judgment!" 78 (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." 79 so He said, "You are granted respite 80 "Till the Day of the time appointed." 81 [Whereupon Iblis] said: "Then [I swear] by Thy very might: I shall most certainly beguile them all into grievous error 82 Other than the chosen ones among Your creatures." 83 Allah said: the truth is, and it is the truth that I speak 84 That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together." 85 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “I do not ask any fee from you for the Qur’an, and I am not a fabricator.” 86 this is simply an admonition to mankind, 87 And most certainly you will come to know about it after a time. 88
